After working as a Management Analyst at the City of Irvine, California, Kevin Keating joined his father, Jack, in 1990 as Co-Account Executives at UVG&N, a creative agency in Chicago. Even though Jack was planning to retire in a year or two, they instead tripled their business and worked together for the next 13 years. In 2000, Kevin purchased the agency and grew its services in promotion and package design.
In 2012, Kevin started the PKG Brand Design group to specialize in branding and packaging. The other half of the agency was re-branded as HANGAR12, focusing on integrated marketing in the areas of consumer promotions, shopper marketing, digital, and social media. Why the name HANGAR12? It’s a nod to his father, Jack, who was a bombardier in the air force during World War II, and flew 35 successful missions in the European Theatre. Jack helped Kevin become a creative and strategy professional that translated into him being passionate about great design and innovative ideas that elevate his company and his clients‘ experience.
Over the years, Kevin has focused on a solitary vision: putting the Consumer First®. HANGAR12 has the research tools and interactive techniques to help us collaborate with our clients’ consumers to shape solutions and build consumer-centric experiences. This approach results in more engagement, sales, and long-term brand loyalty. HANGAR12 employs both agency and brand-side marketing experts to craft brilliant solutions to grow brands by engaging consumers... everywhere.
