After working as a Management Analyst at the City of Irvine, California, Kevin Keating joined his father, Jack, in 1990 as co-Account Executives at UVG&N, a creative agency in Chicago. Even though Jack was planning to retire in a year or two, they instead tripled the business and worked together for the next 12 years. In 2000, Kevin purchased the agency and grew its services to include consumer promotions and package design.
In 2012, Kevin started the PKG Brand Design group to specialize in branding and package design. The other half of the agency was branded as HANGAR12, focusing on integrated marketing in the areas of digital marketing, social media, consumer promotions and shopper marketing. Why the name HANGAR12? It’s a nod to his father, Jack, who was a bombardier in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, and flew nearly three dozen successful missions in the European Theatre and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, a military decoration for heroism. Jack helped Kevin become a creative and strategic professional inspiring him to love great design and innovative ideas, and always elevating his company and his clients‘ experiences.
