Showing that the greatest social media digital campaigns don't always come from internal sources, a Starbucks customer began to draw cartoons on coffee cups with the hashtag #100CoffeeCups. The cartoon cups quickly gained a following of thousands of other artists and coffee drinkers. Starbucks received countless impressions with little effort other than providing the artist with a medium to show off his skills -- and the company's product.
